Today I got a call from a community member who wanted to introduce herself and also ask where her favorite programming had gone. I let her know that we were doing a system upgrade to improve our video and audio signals and would be back on by 4 p.m. Fortunately we were able to keep that commitment and finish a few hours ahead of schedule. The up side of this station downtime is that I got to learn right off the bat that there are a lot of people in Wayne County who enjoy WCTV and count on it being there. It has been really exciting meeting so many people in just the first two days.
