I got to see a public affairs program taped in the studio today for the first time. I have worked at a number of broadcast and educational media facilities over the years, and seen quite a few more, and I think the WCTV studio is comparable to anything out there. Really nice little setup, and I look forward to seeing a lot more work done in there...and maybe getting behind the switcher myself now and then.
I went to my first board meeting yesterday. Our board members have a lot of great ideas for the station and are eager to see WCTV do well. It's a good group of people to be around. I think we will see a lot from this group in 2006.
